A welcome update

The year ended as we waited on news about Richard's flying licence. A decision had been made by the CAA, but we had to wait several more weeks before we found out what it was.
The letter came this week. 'Fit for Class 1 medical.'
Class 1 medical was passed yesterday.
'Fit for flying'! Woo hoo - now back to work!
And as Richard said:
"Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary......"
I have got my medical back!

I've just posted over at Words from God. Some badly written ramblings.
I just wanted to say a thank you here.
This morning, I took the dog out just after 6 for the first time in a while. (Osteo arthritis in the knee has made walking difficult - I'm out to regain fitness now.) Walking along our lane in the dark, listening to the surf breaking on the rocks, I was filled with thankfulness for where I live.
And determined to enjoy it NOW.
The moment is all I have. Until the next one.
