Waiting for dawn

In the early morning dark, glimpsing the surf breaking silvery onto the beach below, I am reminded of this verse:
"I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning
."

Today, I wait expectantly for some good news which I KNOW is coming.
Today, I look forward to special time with family.
Today, the beauty of New Zealand beckons again.
Today, as many days, I wait expectantly for God to speak, to guide, to give direction.

The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning,
it's time to sing Your song again...
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes.

Yes, I will.
